Noah's First Trip to the US

November 19th: Finally packed and ready to go. Car scheduled for 7:15am the next morning. Noah had is 4 month doctor appointment (vaccines included) that morning. He had gotten pretty cranky throughout the day (surprising since his 2 month shots didn't affect him at all), and I gave him a little paracetamol (tylenol).

November 20th: Noah wakes up in the night vomiting. At 5:00am he feels hot... his temperature is 39.7 (103.5)... YIKES. He vomits again. I call the medical advice hotline since we are flying later that morning. They say I should come in since we are going on such a long flight and that the temperature seems a bit high for vaccinations. Off Noah and I trek to the Kinderspital. Fast forward to 9:00am... there's no way we can make our flight, and the doctor recommends we don't fly anyway. Luckily Noah's temperature has responded to tylenol and that was the end of the vomiting.

November 21st: Flight to the US- take 2. Made it safe & sound.

Lessons Learned: No more vaccination appointments the day before traveling.  Trip insurance is a good idea when you have an infant.

Anyway, we are home and happy to be here :)

Off to a good start!
and this is just the carry-ons :o(
Hiding boston from the stewardess... she just didn't want to stay in her bag!
The next day... better rested and happy to be home (and ready for Thanksgiving dinner!)
